Quilting 101 for beginner quilters and Quilting 102 for beginner embroidery starts at 5:30.   Block Of the Month presentation starts at 6:00.

If you're participating in the 5" Charm Square Exchange, the theme this month is Black & White (black & white on same fabric).  You will need 19 charm squares of quilt shop quality fabric.

Quilting 101

threadQuilting 101 Classes are held on guild meeting nights at 5:30 to 6:00 PM.  Class size is limited to 10 people and we still have a few spaces available.  This class is recommended for quilters with 1 year or less experience.  We'll be demonstrating various quilting techniques and we'll give you the opportunity to perfect your quilting skills as we introduce a different block every month.

In January, we introduced the Churn Dash block - a vintage block that dates back to the late 20's.  In February, we'll look at the Buckeye Beauty block.
